Data saves do drop tps while they complete cuz they're a big load on the server so that makes sense. 

We're still looking into it, we are struggling to find any cause at all, fingers crossed we can find whatever it is as stop it

Can you provide any more info about the spikes that might aid in finding the issue e.g. people online, anything in particular happening on server like vote parties

This is functionality built in to the mod so I do not believe we can disable it without changing the mod source code.

I will endeavor to check if there is a config option but I'm not holding my breath
