Suggestion for Tekkit

Alright so it has been discussed amongst some of the staff in discord that we all can agree that we would like a server wipe of Tekkit, seeing as half of the world is full of empty towns and quarried land. I believe it would greatly benefit us if we did a server wipe.

Yeah, Around 70% of towns i come across from just flying around are in the 2-3mo inactivity reigon, thats bad for a start, 2nd is the overall athmosphere is pretty much dying, if any of you old players remember what happens after a wipe its quite fun tbh, 3rd is the eco, its dead, no more needed to be said, if it was wiped i would write some market rules, 4th is the fact that as adrii said, we need somehwhere to build!, most new players cant claim in nice places..

If we do restart, may i suggest the vote crates be toned down to just raw materials and no more pre-crafted stuff like oxygen tanks, me drives, batteries, etc?  Make it just ingots and gems (Diamonds, Emeralds, Certus and Nether Quartz)

i would enjoy a server wipe but maybe in one or two weeks time with a msg in server chat so that people don't start massive projects and people who already started can atleast finish the project they started

Just because the server is having problems today doesn't mean we should have a wipe. We can't even tell if these crashes are permanent damage to the server... no one has asked bruny to look into it. Maybe he can fix it.

Frequent wipes will get players to quit the modpack and it was just wiped a few months ago, I have hardly built anything on the server so that's not the reason I'm picking this side.

There would be alot of outrage if this is to happen, perhaps the select few that have replied to this topic think it's the right thing to do but I can almost bet the full playerbase disagrees.

This is just the opinion I have about it, no need to try to sway me elsewhere cause this is my belief.

A wipe is a lazyman's way out of a problem. We can fix this.

there's not much area of the map left untouched... as much as i like my secluded island, i prefer just an area on mainland with multiple biomes near.
