-(1. I believe I was banned for agood rule a very very good reason so i am going to plea guilty But never never intentional.It A 7 day an is a bit extensive and ere is why. 1. After bruny reviewed the logs he un perma banned me but why? because its not because he believed I didnt mean it its because it generally was a server error. Staff you can see the logs belgarufo has and they say then when i was pasting i did //copy and //paste in totally different coords then spawn. Which tells you I had no idea what i had happend or why I will say A 5-4 day ban is in order but a seven is over doing it if not my jackseno account the swimsam1 account becasue IT WAS A MISTAKE WITH WE not on my swimsam1 account. also we are in the prosses of moving bases so this creats a very big delema)-

you were never perma banned... belgarufo banned you at that moment as it was the best way to prevent any further damage, it's a thing I too would have done at that moment. and mistake or not, you are banned for griefing spawn. Not a light thing to request an unban for... Also as You and Jackseno41 have the same IP, the ban will be applied to both accounts.

"mistake or not" It wasnt a mistake i admit i shouldn't have been trying to copy spawn BUT this "mistake was no fault of mine" im and not asking for a instant unban I thing i deserve 1 more day of ban but that's it. I am unable to see my current time left banned but i do know that its around 5-3 days

Nobody did.

Just be glad it wasn't a permban.

I do want to know how you did not notice spawn changing as you went to spawn multiple times during that... so many things changed that you MUST have noticed it.

You were never given a permanent ban... even though the rules state you should.

[8] No Griefing Any Protected Territory:

• 1st offense = 7 days ban.
• 2nd offense = 14 days ban.
• 3rd offense = 28 days ban.
• 4th offense = 60 days ban.

Includes everything that changes the environment of claimed land. Includes any block, item, action, liquid, that can bypass protection. Includes Griefing of own Town if other members did not agree and worked hard. Griefing spawn is a permanent ban.

 

And you dare call us biased because we decided to look past that because what you did was a mistake we set it at a 7 day ban. Not a 6 day, not a 5 day- a 7 day. And that isn't going to change- Sure you can call us biased if you want and you can blame it all on some imaginary grudge we all  have for you- That's simply not true. The rules state a permanent ban or a 7 day ban- so are we biased because we didn't ban you for 5? Nononono, this all goes through the rulebook and we have to respect the rules- heck, any action outside of the rules are considered abuse.

I'll quote Brunyman on this, from a topic in which a staffmember - I won't say who - had to be removed because they picked their own rules and punishments.

So, through all of this- like the time you were trading creative items and I let you off with a simple warning- or the time you were spawning a bunch of creative items in the end and I simply told you off and cleaned up your mess... and THIS, which in reality SHOULD be a permban we decided for a 7 day ban... through all the time we have actually treated you better than what is suggested- and you still think we're biased?

 

You have to realise a few things here swimsam, everyone when they get banned they try to blame it on either someone else using their account- or that it was an honest mistake. Well, blaming it on someone else you have done multiple times, even when proven wrong- you even tried it here. But we don't care about that, you say it was a mistake and I believe that- but we can't start unbanning people merely because they claim it to be a mistake....

Imagine this.... Someone has worldedit, and they remove your entire town. We ban them for 7 days and you are furious as you have to wait for bruny to roll it back. You would try telling us how 7 days won't make him justice and he deserves more- Well, we go by the rules and we stick to 7 days even through your recommendations. 2 days in here makes an unban appeal, saying it was all a mistake and 3 days later he's unbanned an he's back on the server. How would you feel? You would be more furious than ever I would imagine.

This is a similar case here, if we were to accept your... somewhat aggressive apology- and admit it was a honest mistake then we will have to honor everyone else who uses that excuse and our entire ban system would fail. 

 

Even though you might find it biased this is how you do it. And if you would like to; you are more than welcome to ask around higher staff on our other servers. Infinity, Direwolf, Skyfactory... anyone would say that you are lucky to only have a 7 day ban on your name for what happened. And no, it's not because we talk behind your back in staff chat, cuz we don't. Honestly, we don't. 
Someone on another server would hardly even know who you are if it's not for your forum presence-

 

We are not biased- this is an honest ban and by the rules.

The bias is there . And I dare I do dare. I fully admit to my first action being to blame jackseno but i deleted it in seconds so its not valid because no one saw it. also jack is never on are IP are NOT THE SAME idk when he gets on. i do sometimes role play as him but only in the pms and always let people know who I am alot of your points are valid henk ive come to terms with you and this server. I am very grateful for your letting me off easy with the end situation. But that's not why were here. The other problem im fighting for is that i can only get on weekends and with my extra credit, swimming I get no other time. I would be okay with serving my ban after this weekend. because i would never do anything to harm this server. it is dying becoming irreverent and some of the people you meet are great. My Case Is This: I Was Not At Spawn When I Did //paste. I Love This Server And Would Never Dream Of Harming It. It was a mistake but A terrible unexpected one. I work long hours life guarding strait A student between this and my little time for social life The server is what I got. Take It Or Leave It I will accept what you say.

Hi, I checked logs and first I was thinking it was a mistake, but then we could not find any message from you that you did it by mistake and instead there were reports that said you had a nickname set before this with the name of another player that griefed spawn .

So why didn't you reported the mistake and left spawn like that?

Unban request denied. Far too much evidence indicating it was on purpose, and for likely for laughs. Logs also show that you did not move away from spawn when doing it. The logs show all, and they show that you have been lying. Going around with the name of a previous spawn griefer isn't funny, it's insulting and sad, and hurts your case. It also give out the wrong impressions if you want people to think you are telling the truth. Your deleted messages show you tried to blame it on someone else, but then claimed it was a mistake on your part? All in all, your behavior throughout this whole thing has been rather indicative that it was on purpose.

You are very lucky that it was not a permanent ban, since that is the punishment for spawn griefing. We aren't going to shorten your ban by two days just for your scheduling convenience, since that defeats the entire purpose of a ban, IE, preventing you from getting on and playing. Your ban is already as short as it can be.

You've also spent almost your entire ban length arguing and lying about it, trying to get unbanned. 

BAN STAYS, TOPIC CLOSED. Don't open a new one, it will be immediately locked.
