Hi,today I am going to show you how to transfer your FTB modpack into MultiMC in case you are experiencing lag spikes after the 1.3.1 update or just cant start the game.

 

1.Download MultiMC

a)Premium-http://multimc.org 

 

 

 

b)Cracked-https://www.hackphoenix.com/multimc/ 

 

 

2.Install MultiMc

a)Extracting

 

 

a2)Extract what's within if you are premium,extract the premium one if not use the cracked from hackphoenix

 

 

3.Run MultiMC.exe and select a java version.

4.Make a new instance

 

 

5.Select the version in this case 1.7.10

6.Add an account

 

 

7.Edit the instance

 

 

7.1.Add a forge and lite loader

 

 

do the same with the lite loader

7.2.Close the window and go to the instances folder

 

 

Go to the ftb and drag the mods from ftb there

 

 

Paste The mods into the instance's mods folder

 

 

Extra.How to add mods-Step 1 Download the mod

                                        -Step 2 Move the mod into the instance's mods folder

PS.Set the PermGen into instance's settings to 1GB or Higher

You should let them know also, that without setting a good PermGen memory in the instance settings the game will never load. I was struggling with that for ages until I put 1GB into PermGen.

Also... You know that multimc can detect the ftb instances, so you don't have to copy them again? Just saying...

Btw I'm using the "premium" launcher...

Hey Skilande, while I don't think FTB Direwolf20 requires it for Crafterslands servers, I always copy the config folders as well. It might cause issues with say Tekkit...

If you are not playing single player there is no problem

Never got this to work, everything was fine loaded perfectly up to the point I tried to log into server I just froze. It never crashed or anything literally just froze.

It does not work for me with Tekkit or the new Direwolf or the SkyFact anymore,I use it for TFC and SP

Try copying the mods(and configs) into your vannila minecraft,install the latest forge and you should be good to go

I don't rom4ster I got 7 I tried 8 and minecraft wouldn't load at all

lol, i got 7 and 8 and both have the freezing issue, multimc wont load with 8

Install the MrTJP core for project red. it isnnt included in the multimc with direwolf20 installed.

I'm lazy to do that.
I tired to do trying auto-detect FTB instance into MultiMC (it was worked last time, but Long time ago my HDD was died.)

And he is removed from megaupload.

It is the same thing like with FTB, make a new instance then copy&paste mods and everything else into the folder
