Jimmel got a reaction from N3co_ in Faction Commands
Due to the lack of official documentation on commands for the Factions plugin that's used on our network, we thought it would be a good idea to make our own list of available commands to make things easier for everyone.
Keep in mind that, depending on how the permissions are set up within the faction, some of the following commands (even basic or extra ones) could be restricted to certain faction ranks.
    Basic commands:
/f map - Shows status and availability of your surroundings, like safezones or warzones, claimed or unclaimed chunks. /f list - Shows a full list of currently active factions on the server. /f who (Tag) - Use the output from /f list to get more information on a specific faction. /f create (Tag), /f tag (NewTag), /f desc (Desc) - Create a faction, update its tag and description. /f show - Information about your faction. /f sethome, /f home - Set a faction home and teleport to it. /f setwarp, /f warp - Set a warp for your faction and teleport to it. /f join (Tag) - Join the specified faction. /f chat <faction|mod|alliance|truce|public> - Different chat channels. /f bank - Faction economy commands, like adding, removing, transfering money, etc. Member management commands: (leader only)
/f open <yes|no|flip> - Defines whether or not a player needs an invite to join your faction. By default, this option is set to no, meaning a closed faction. Be very careful when setting your faction to open, as anyone could join it and cause all sorts of problems without a proper permission system in place. (more on permissions at the end of the post) /f ban, /f unban, /f kick (Player) - Ban, unban or kick players from your faction. /f banlist - Lists banned players. /f coleader, /f leader (Player)- Promote one of your faction members to co-Leader, or transfer ownership of your faction(!) /f mod (Player) - Promote one of your members to faction moderator. /f promote (Player) - Automatically promote members to the next available faction rank. Extra commands:
/f title (Player) (Prefix) - Set a custom prefix for one of your members (only shown in faction-specific chat channels). /f coords - Broadcast your coordinates to your faction members. /f weewoo <start|stop> - Set off an alarm to let all members know that your faction is being raided! /f chest - Opens up a GUI for a shared faction chest. /f checkpoint set, /f checkpoint - Set a checkpoint for your faction and teleport to it. /f lowpower - Displays a list of faction members whose power is under the maximum (10). /f showclaims - Shows claimed land. /f missions - Show and edit faction objectives. /f points - Check your points balance. /f upgrade - Upgrade various aspects of your faction. /f tnt, /f tnt add (amount) - Check your faction TNT balance or add to the TNT bank. /f tntfill (radius) (amount) - Automatically fill all dispensers within the specified range with the specified amount of TNT. /f invsee - Access a faction member's inventory. Requires a Premium or higher rank Setting up faction permissions: (leader only)
Faction leaders are responsible for setting up permissions for each one of their internal ranks (Recruit/Member/Moderator/co-Leader), as well as their relationships with other factions (truce/ally/enemy/neutral). By default, permissions are on the stricter side, with everything being denied for ranks lower than Moderator, as well as for all faction relationship groups. However, it's up to you to make any changes you like and run your faction the way you want. To update permissions, you're going to use the /f perms command. Thanks to its user-friendly GUI, setting up permissions for your faction members is a breeze.

    Hello Crafters!
I'll be quick. All the Vanilla Staff wants to open a Factions server! But our main decision have to be: Which version will be use?
We are thinking about using the 1.18/1.17.1 (lastest ones) or 1.8 as the old factions we had!
So, we are here to ask u and do a poll to see what all of u guys think!

For some players who don't know what "Factions" is:
"Factions is a Minecraft plugin that, due to its complexity and functions, could be considered a game mode in itself. It allows to create a complete PVP based server with lots of functions and configurable features. Its name comes from the English FACTION or clan. This plugin allows the creation of clans to have a protected base in common and to be able to attack other enemies together."
    Some features:
"- Creation of Factions with invitations, ranks and permissions
    - Protection of zones by chunks (16x16x254)
    - Relationship system between factions: enemies, allies and neutrals.
    - Power system (power) that is gained by spending time on the server and is lost by dying. Power allows you to protect more areas.
    - Creation of safe zones (safezone) and war zones (warzone) with special characteristics
    - Chat settings to show faction ranks and status"
    (thx for the idea @xDrews)

Jimmel got a reaction from MiniTermi77 in rollback request
Restored your inventory, vault and fame from May 2021. If there's anything missing, let us know so we can do a manual item refund.
Keep in mind that, for technical reasons related to server performance and optimization, player data is reset after 6 months of inactivity. Normally, we wouldn't do a rollback in this case but given the fact there's no warning about that anywhere (there will be now), I've gone ahead and restored your items.
  18. Thanks

Additionally, everyone gets a 20sec no-PvP timer after every respawn. Hopefully these features combined will be enough to combat the spawn camping issues!

Jimmel reacted to ASOOD in General Server Cluster Questions
Firstly Hello and Welcome to our community, would be nice to have you here, you posted this topic in the right section as it is information about our community so no need to worry about that, lets answer your question and hopefully you'll get everything cleared:
    1) We have Rule for PVP for each server, PVP is allowed in the wilderness on most server, and generally no its not a PVP based servers.
    2) Cracked means the players who joins using unofficial Minecraft, Premium are the ones who bought and have a legit Minecraft account.
    3) All the server can get unstable once they have a high amount of players connected at the same time, or someone is using something in the wrong way or have a bad setup somewhere, so generally all our servers are stable (except if there's a modpack bugs or issues we try our best to cover or fix them by ourselves if we can).
    4) all our servers are non-whitelisted, just choose the server/modpack you want to play, get the server's IP and hit connect!
    5) most likely no, you can check each server rule in its General Tab here on forums, if you are not sure about something you can always ask us on our Discord.
    6) no servers will be shut down to my knowledge in the near feature, Servers wipes occurs usually after 8+ months from servers release/last wipe.
    7) Server Rules.
if you have anything else please feel free to ask, hopefully i covered everything you wanted to know.

    Lobby – Spring redesign
As you might have realized by now, we like to switch things up every now and then; so this time we thought, springtime is actually a pretty good excuse to do just that. Our builders worked tirelessly over the course of several days to give our lobby a major, really impressive spring overhau! Let me tell you, the overall vibes and attention to detail in this one are off the charts.

    Pure Survival – New features
Looking to give players a new way to make some extra money to use on claim blocks, server shops, etc., we’ve implemented a jobs plugin. Simply run /jobs browse and pick your line of work With 10 different jobs to choose from, there’s something in there for everyone!
Note: You can work a maximum of 3 different jobs at the same time.
This is another addition to the Sponsor+ perks. You can now give yourself a fancy new look in the form of a hex and/or gradient color prefix. With support for more than 16 million colors, the possibilities are truly endless.
    Use with /nick <gradient:#1eae98:#d8b5ff>YourNickname</gradient>
    Link to hex color codes.
Note: At the time of writing this, hex prefixes are only available on Pure Survival, with support for more servers coming in the near future.

    Assassin’s Craft updates
First, a slight adjustment to the MasterAssassin rank. Starting this month, the AssassinS Leaderboard will be reset on a monthly basis. The goal is to make it a fair fight for everyone, much like the (similarly designed) TopVoter rank.
Next up, let’s talk about spawn camping. Now, this has been an issue for as long as I can remember and, while it doesn’t happen all the time, it’s not a good experience for anyone, especially newcomers who are just starting their journey with little to no proper gear to defend themselves against campers. To combat the issue, we have introduced a 20sec no-PvP timer after respawning, for all players. That should give everyone enough time to leave spawn safely in case there are campers around. Be that as it may, we still highly encourage you to report these players to our staff so they can be dealt with.
Another cool feature we’ve been testing out lately are parkour checkpoints. Basically, when you die in a dungeon, a checkpoint allows you to teleport back to a specific part of the dungeon so that you don’t necessarily have to start over from spawn again. As you go along, you will encounter multiple checkpoints depending on the length and difficulty of the parkour. Here's how it works:

Please note that this feature is highly experimental and is currently only implemented in one of the dungeons over at the New Village. We plan on rolling out checkpoints for many more dungeons soon.
