continuum FTB Continuum Server time for WIPE? Vote Here!

The server was opened on 20th September 2018. So the map has about 7 months, time to see if a WIPE is needed, please vote and tell us what you think.

If we WIPE we will do a full server reset except for ranks, new map seeds will be generated and the old map will be available for download. We will also be able to do more tests on advanced rocketry if we reset.

also, could we be allowed to take items over, including those in bags and shulker boxes?

The world file will include that. ”When” is still an uncertainty, depending on the votes and when bruny has time for wiping it

sorry but is that a yes or a no? is the world file being replaced or is it some separate thing thats kept? if its getting replaced, I would like to have my items still, along with a lot of other people I believe

From what I’ve seen on past wipes the whole world, including other DIMs get wiped and replaced by other maps, your base and inventory gets wiped and its a brand new and fresh start. 

 

I’ve never seen if there’s a way to transfer your base or something like that but even if there was a way the whole point of the wipe is to remove inactive bases and problematic chunks that keep on crashing the server and making TPS drop to levels where the server and automations can’t even function correctly.

Hoepfully, the wipe is soon, continuum really needs it and I'm looking forward to starting the modpack from scratch

only way to "transfer" your base is to save a schematic of that base and re-create it in the new world.

You need to download & install Schematica and LunatriusCore https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/schematica. Then when you get in-game look in the control settings for schematic, find the setting that says "Save Schematic"

I thought you meant the if the download of the world would keep inventories, enderchests etc. Because that would, but the server will not after the wipe

I guess wipe will come soon, because this is the end of April and the wipe when x4 vote rewards are best start for everyone

So if sv wipe, we can start space station normally, don't need to follow the guide posted on guide box anymore?

We’d have to test space stations still but still follow the guide just in case
