So this is a spare time side project that me and some old collage friends started more then 1 year ago, I did the code part while they did the graphics, animations and sounds. This game is called Taponaut, it's a small free mobile game that we did more for practice and see if we can actually do it, it's not monetized and the game idea was to control an astronaut and help him fly over obstacles and try to go as far as you can, there is also a stats area with achievements and best high score scoreboard. On this update we changed the island generation and protection system, we replaced teamislands and ftbutils protection with skyclaims and griefprevention. The aim was to fix some bugs where islands could be lost and also server freezes or lag when a new island was created. In order to create your island for the first time now you need to run command /is create , you will find more details about this on the server. You can still create teams with ftbutils mod so you can work on quests in teams if you want to. So we got some requests for a server WIPE, and also the server map is full and harder for new players to start. There are also issues with lag from some big bases. The last server WIPE was on 8 Octomber 2018, almost 6 months ago. The reset will get us new map seeds, fresh start for all, all data reset except ranks and less lag. Hi guys, so this is about our SkyAdventures server. We need to change the island protection system, the major issue we have with the builtin mod is it is buggy and incomplete. At first I thought that using the built it mod was a good idea since it matches the single player experience, however the mod has issues in multiplayer, islands get lost and the mod is not really done like features are missing, there is no island deleting system and after we talked to the mod developer looks like there are no plans to develop it further, at least not any time soon. Also the server is not that populated because of these issues. Please vote in the pool above and let us know when to do this update, it is required to do a server WIPE as changing the island and protection system means all existing islands will be lost. The new island protection system is similar to what we use on skyfactory3 and stoneblock2 servers. Thanks!
